Formula calculation with subform and if condition

Hello,

I have a repeating subform where I sum up values outside with a formula field. 
But now I want to integrate a condition that this is only done when a certain radio button option is active in this subform row.

 

sum(${DS_Database_DSDetailedPlanning_RESOURCEPLANNINGS/DS_Database_DSDetailedPlanning_RESOURCEPLANNING_ManDays:[*]})

  Formula field has implicit trigger to get executed when even other form fields are updated. I thinking you are looking for a way to execute formula through rules.

  What you can give a try is to have the sum logic in JavaScript and call the JavaScript method using rule.

  I have now added several hidden fields in the subform which I fill via rules after selecting an option. These are then summed outside the subform with a formula field. So I do not need a condition for the formula
