File Upload Error in Update Form

I am using File Upload control in Forms application.

In New Form there is no issue uploading a files.

On Update Form however I get this error message.

 

failed to upload: Value cannot be null.

Parameter name: s

 

Any idea what this parameter s is and reason for this error.

  Hi Madhu,

  One probable reason to get the issue as stated is when the source files don't have the read access. Could you please double-check it and give a try.

  File Upload Control Configuration

  New form is set to allow 'Upload New Files'

  Update form is set to allow 'View,Upload and Download Files'

  Not sure what you refer to as 'source files'

  target repository is a SharePoint library to which EveryOne has access.

  One other observation, while creating a new item if a file is uploaded to this file upload control on update form I dont see this error message. While creating a new item if no files are uploaded and if we try to upload files on item update we get this error.
