how to set default values from a lookup?

Hi,

How can we set a default value in a drop-down where the values are populated from a lookup.

  Hi Suraj,

  There is no inbuilt functionality that will set the default value to dropdown especially when the values in the dropdown will be populated from a lookup. Since Lookup values always vary on user expectations and can not be predictable to set a default value.

  You may use some piece of javascript which will help you to set the default value if exists in the dropdown after the execution of lookup.
