AutoLookups and SharePoint
In my form I need Field2 test field to populate with the value of a lookup based on field1 value. I find auto-Lookups. Great!
https://documentation.agilepoint.com/00/appbuilder/cloudformAutoLookupControl.html#Advanced
I look at the first video where it shows you using a lookup and mapping Field1 value as a parameter to the lookup and then the result value to field2 to display the value. Perfect.
No I scroll down to the SharePoint version of the video and it has nothing to do with AutoLookup. It just is a video on using SharePoint lookups to display values in a dropdown????
I see now way in my lookup or anywhere else to use an autoLookup control to fire on Field1 change, execute the lookup, and populate field2 with the result.
What am I missing?

Hi Douglas,
all autolookups works on the same idea. You configure it to look to sharepoint to the field 2 and trigger the autolookup on change of field 1. On configuration screen of your autolookup you can specify whether to trigger on related field value change (field 1 in case you used it as filter), or you can specify exactly your field (option specific field value change). What does not works?Regards
AlexeyP.S. if you need only 1 field 2 - you need the multuple column type of the lookup.

I got it working. The video in the page above confused me because the SharePoint Video on Auto-Lookup doesn't mention them. It just talks through lookups. In the end I needed to use a multi-column and pam the lookup where clause and the result display fiedls. It works now. I would suggest replacing the SharePoint video in the ablve page with one that wals though auto lookup config. Thanks!
