Use Database (not DataEntity) and Rest API at same time

Hi.

My client want to use Rest API for their custom service. But they don't want to use DataEntity. Just store in Database.

 

So which APIs to save/get list data?

  Thanh,

  The REST APIs can be used either in a REST Activity or within the eForms as part of REST lookup. 

  The screen that you have shared is for selecting a DataSource to be bound along with application for implicit interaction instead of manually designing interactions with external systems like Data Entities, Database, Salesforce, SharePoint and MS Excel. 

  While creating a Process Based application, if you choose the Data Source as Blank, during the Process Model design, you make use of the Database or REST Activity based on your business requirements.
