Does AgilePoint support multiple versions of the same workflow running at once _رس version control?

  Being a fully XML-based enterprise-level BPMS, AgilePoint provides versioning capability to all the workflows that are created with AgilePoint. On top of that, AgilePoint also supports running different version of the same process model simultaneously which is another strong point of AgilePoint not found in many other BPMS.

  Is there a way to start a new instance of a previous version of a workflow once a new version has been published?

  AgilePoint allows you to roll back to previous versions... not sure if that is what you are asking

  No, don't want to roll back.  I was wondering if you can choose the version of the workflow when you start it instead of defaulting to the latest published version.

  I don't think so. You might be able to clone the previous version under a different name and get it to work that way... not sure how difficult it would be with your database set up...

  This can be done, but it is a bit tricky.

  1. Publish your project.
  2. Export the previous version you want to execute at times.
  3. Export the current version.  (Keep careful track of which version is which.)
  4. Delete the project.
  5. Import the previous version.
  6. Clone this version to a new name.
  7. Delete the imported version.
  8. Import the current version.

  The down side to doing this is that you lose your project history in your current version.  This can be solved if you have a vm by creating a snapshot of your server after step 1, export your cloned project after step 6 and move it to some other network location, then restore your snapshot and import the newly cloned version.  Be Careful!
