How to reserve digit place for Sequence Number

Hi everyone,

I have a form with Sequence Number and I would like to have the format to look like this:

UAR-{CurrentYear}xxxx

For example, the first and 105th ticket of 2021 will be

UAR-20210001

UAR-20210105

 

I tried to put 0001 as Start Value in the Sequence Number setting, but it just can't work. It will display as UAR-20211 instead of UAR-20210001.

 

Any solution to this?

  We had the similar requirement. I solved this with a separate REST service endpoint to have more format options.

  Hi Ch,

  You can create a table in SQL and write a Stored Procedure to generate a sequence number and store it in the same table.

  Alternatively, for those who faces the same problem and doesn't require that much number (thousands), can put 1000 as starting number, so that the tickets will be 1xxx
