Select task participant by previous task selection

On my start task I have a radio button field that I want to select a group for the next task to be the task participants. Any best practices on this?

  Hi David,

  What do you mean best practices? You can do that, just be sure, that the groups that can be choosen by the user exists.

  I didnt want the user to choose the group. I was the group to be selection based on what was selected as an option in some radio buttons or checkbox list.

  See Screenshots below: I know it can be done but my question is what are some best practices. This is how I do mine. I am just assuming there is a much better way than the way I am doing it.

  The solution is ok. It could be better if instead names of group you would save IDs of the groups and before assigning query the ids of groups saved in a data entity and then assign to the task participant. Like this you are not dependent on changing group names in future. But still you solution is ok.
