Subprocess configuration for simultaneous entry

Can I use Basic schema mapping or must I use advanced and additionally update parent process data in order to have two users tasks assigned simultaneously?

  Not sure what you are asking but I use a loop and set the subprocess configuration to no wait. Each time through the loop of users the subprocess is kicked off for that user and does not wait for completion. After that you can use milestone or voting to wait for some number of responses or all of the responses. Be sure to have a timer in the subprocess so it doesn't wait forever.

  Not sure whether the below answer is related to your question.

  Whenever sub-process is triggered by the parent process , it will create an instance of sub-process . It means, if u have created sub-process for the purpose of single task , for each task an instance will be created .

  I've chosen Basic Schema Mapping (Share) instead of Advanced (Copy) and my understanding is that this means multiple instances of the subprocess cannot be running at the same time, because they only share the same schema instead of getting their own. Is this incorrect?

  I found that in the AgileProperties there is a setting for "Single" and "Multiple" and that it was set to "Single" by default, not allowing the loop to complete.
