Setting a Sharepoint User Field

Hello,

 

I am about a month into using Agilepoint. One issue that is really tough to get around is setting a Sharepoint User Field from Agilepoint's App Builder. Here is what I am trying to do:

 

Use a unique identifier such as e-mail or employee ID to look up a user and set a Sharepoint User-type field to that user. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Here is what I have tried

• Acquire user's unique e-mail from a separate Sharepoint List - Success
• Use Get User Profile action to look up user using e-mail address - Success
• Set a Sharepoint Column of the type User to a value using the unique e-mail - Fail

  Hi Joshua,

  As far as i remember this is not the AgilePoint issue, but how SharePoint saves users. They are saved something like i:0#.w|domain\spuser, so i guess if you set the user field to that value (with the prefix i:0#.w|) than it should work. But first try to get the username from SharePoint to define the prefix in the right form.
