How to bind data from an Auto Lookup control to a textbox?

  When defining the Lookup Source for the Auto Lookup, make sure the queried column name is set as the Internal Name of the textbox. For e.g. if the textbox Internal Name is Textbox1 the SELECT statement shall look like:SELECT -Column Name- as Textbox1 from -Table Name-

  I'm not getting a validation when I use TextBox8 in an Auto-Lookup.

  I didn't realize that the lookup should NOT be a Name/Value type.

   

   SELECT Description AS Dept Desc FROM Department_Codes WHERE Dept_Id='${Dept LookAhead}'
