Using File System for Upload Control Document Repository
I'd like to use the network server that hosts our AgilePoint portal as the document repository for an upload control in an eForm I'm building. However, during testing, I've concluded that while you can upload files (.pdf, .docx, .jpg, .png) into the network server, you can't view or download them. I am however, able to view documents from the Upload control if my document repository is a SharePoint document library.

I've noticed that the Configure Action screen of the Document Repository Configuration says:
Note : These files are stored on your AgilePoint Server machine, and they can only be accessed from the AgilePoint NX Portal. External apps, such as SharePoint , Salesforce, and mobile devices cannot access these files from an eForm.

Question 1: Where in the AgilePoint portal can I access the files uploaded?
Question 2: Has anyone had any success viewing files uploaded from an Upload control used in a task form or report view form?
The Upload Control documentation page also says:
Options include view, upload and download. If you select a view option, AgilePoint tries to show the file in the form user's web browser. However, in some cases, this is not possible — for example, if the file is a PDF, but there is no software to view a PDF file installed on the client machine. If it is not possible to show the file on the user's machine, the file is downloaded instead.

Hi Cindy,
For your Question 1:
Navigate to the location which you have provided in the "Document Repository->Configure window".In your case navigate to file system folder path:C:\Century\SCF. Inside the SCF folder, all your files will be located that were uploaded.

For your second question:
Whatever you are seeing is the expected result. If any client machine does not have supporting tools then the file will be downloaded.
Hope this helps!
Thanks,

Just to clarify, if the document repository is a network server location, there is no place in the AgilePoint portal where users will be able to view the files then? Users can only view the uploaded files directly from the network server location?
If this is the case, our users don't have access to this network server so a third-party application like SharePoint may be the best option.

Hello Cindy,
Yes, users can view the files in case the document repository is a network server location with the help of an AgilePoint Connector.
Kindly refer below link on how it works:
