Editing a Subform in Tablet-View

Hello together,

 

I wonder how I could customize the view of a subform in the tablet-view?

There is a repeatable subform I work on that needs a certain look in desktop-view to obtain user acceptance and this "look" does not work well with the tablet-view at all, neither potrait nor landscape.

Is there any possibility to readjust controls in subforms whilst working in tablet- or phone-view?

  Hi Andre,

  Unfortunately at this time we do not have the ability to adjust this in tablet view, as of now, it is only supported for phone and desktop views.

  In the Field Settings for the Subform, on the Configure tab, there is a button to "Choose Fields to Exclude in Column Layout". When you click the button it lists the fields in the subform so you can exclude them from the visible fields - but - it also lets you choose the percentage width each of the visible columns will take up. I use this on a form I'm designing for use on iPads and it works well. I have two fields in the subform, one taking up 85% and one taking up 15%. Might this help?

  Hi  David, 

  I tried your hint myself but in my case I could not click the button "Choos Fields to Exclude in Column Layout" as it was not clickable / no hover when placing the cursor on it. 
  
  Is there any additional condition necessary to activate this one?

  Hi Andre,

  I see that the "Choose Fields to Exclude" button is only active when you switch the Display Style to Columns instead of the default of Rows. I'm also on v7, but I don't know if there's a difference in our environments.
