Exporting Records from AgilePoint with Alternative Text

I'm having an issue with null values where I convert the null to spaces using "alternative text" on the report. The nulls show as spaces on report but when I export to Excel the nulls show. My other alternative texts export the alternative text that shows on report into Excel with no problem; it only seems to have issue exporting null.  Is there something special about null values and exporting?

  Derek,

  It's working fine to me on AgilePoint NX v8.0 SU2.2 product version.

  I configured Description field to have space when it's empty or Null.

  Harish, you are correct. Originally the default [Blank] and [NULL] weren't doing anything so I create my own Null with spacebar blank for value.  I went back to the Original [BLANK] and [NULL] and realize the values were empty. I pressed the spacebar to insert blank value for both [BLANK] and [NULL] and you are correct the Excel Spreadsheet now shows blank.
