How to navigate from Form-based app to another Form-based app?

I have a scenario where a Form Contains multiple listviews from different datasources.

I need to navigate to the  specific Update form when i click the item in a listview.

Example:

Portfolio Form - is kinda like a dashboard, it has a Project ListView and a Property Listview

when i click item in Project ListView, it should take me to Project Update Form

and when i click item in Property ListView, it should take me to Property Update Form.

But what is happening is it only takes me to Portfolio Update Form.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

  Addtional info:

  Its like a drill-down navigation where you go from Granparent(Portfolio) - Child(Property) - GrandChild(Projects).

  I should be able to navigate from Portfolio to Property, update its values, then navigate from Property to Projects.

  The OOTB design of the Form based application is to support navigation within all the views and forms which are related to the same application. 

  To have a customized behavior it would require you to have knowledge on the default working and add customized configuration into the forms design.
