Hiding sub form or group of controls

I have a form with lot of controls. I need a way to group the controls in such a way that I can hide them by a rule depending on user selections of another drop down on that same form.

I tried to the group of controls in sub form but I do not see a way to hide the sub-form from a rule. It allows me to put every control individually to hide which is cumbersome and hard to maintain.

Is there a better way to group the controls (40 + fields) in such a way that it is very easy to hide or show from a rule??

  Hi Bhabesh,

  Did you try this with a form-level rule (vs. a control level rule)?

  with Subform this is the way of grouping. It also works to show/hide the complete subform with a rule:

  Hi Alexey, I have a main form in which I have added a sub form...is there a way to hide the whole subform from the main form through a rule instead of hiding each control in sub form??

  On my screenshot i am hiding complete subform with just one rule. You can also do the same with rule builder of the form itself. Is this not helping? Can you make screenshots of what are you trying to achive?

  Main Form with a drop down....depending on drop down selection I will like to hide the sub form completely...

  

  I am not seeing ability to hide the whole form...it shows me individual controls on the sub form to hide...

  Can you show what is in the dropdown in hide control rule? I guess there should be also "new account request". This would be the whole subform.

  I mean inside the rule for right to green hide control rule you have a dropdown where it now stays "proposed account number". Please click on that dropdown and make a screenshot what is there. There should be an option "new account request".

  Exactly! And there are two options "new account request. One of them is a whole subform. Try both of them one after another and you will see, that the whole subform will be hidden.
