Using a Process Variable in SharePoint List Item & Update Metadata Activities

Before I contact AgilePoint help desk or mentoring services, has anyone else had issues getting a SharePoint "Create List Item" and "Update Metadata" activities to work within a process? After a lot of testing, I confirmed that the activities were adding a list item to a SharePoint list and then updating/adding to the list item entry but I had a submission go through that didn't add to the SharePoint list, even though the process did complete. Even more confusing is that no integer was issues for the submission. 

I am using a model data variable (ListItemID) in both SharePoint activities - see attached photo.

  Double check that the default action on failure is suspend, not continue.

  In the process module, click on the activity, then click on Properties in the ribbon, select ALL, Status and Error Messages.

  

  For critical write statements, I have learned to always check that.  

  If I have it set to Continue then inspect the Error in the process logic to make sure it did it.

  Thank you for the tip, Phread. I've gone ahead and updated my SharePoint activities to suspend on exception occurrence. I'm hoping this setting will help me figure out what the issue is.
