Why is it that the same AgilePoint NX process can run on premises and in the cloud while other products, like Nintex, need completely different apps?

  AgilePoint NX is a platform that is independent of any specific system technology. It sits as an architectural layer above the various systems of record, line of business solutions and/or data bases. AgilePoint interacts with any and all other environments through APIs. Consequently, an AgilePoint application does not care where data is located as long as an API is available. The application will find the data wherever it is located and insert information wherever it needs to go.
