CreateProcInst REST API

I am trying to call the CreateProcInst API from an external application. I am struggling with the required parameters and where to get the values. ie - ProcessID, WorkObjID, CustomID, etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

  Hi Patrick,

  ProcessID you can find under Manage -> runtime management -> your process (any of them) and in General Info Tab you use the value of the DefID

  WorkObjID - a new generated (random) GUID

  WorkObjInfo - "string"

  As far as i know this are the only not obvious fields. Please give a feedback, if it worked.

  Here are the required values - 

  ProcessID - DefID
  ProcInstName - This must be a unique value
  WorkObjID - GUID (does not need to be unique)

  blnStartImmediately = true
