Map comment control to SharePoint list

I am creating a form based app that uses a SharePoint list as the data source. I would like to use the comment control rather than a text box so that the comment history is available. I am unable to map the control to a text field in SharePoint. Is there a work around or should I map to a different attribute type? Any assistance would be helpful. Thank you!

  The support for Data Binding for applications with Data Source with regards to Comment Control along with other associated features was added as an enhancement during the release of AgilePoint NX v8.

The Comments form controls supports data binding with data sources.

  Hello,

  Do you have examples of what data sources are able to bind to the comments control? I would like to bind it to SharePoint, but none of the SharePoint types are able to bind. I keep getting the error "Node data type and control data type do not match". Appreciate your help!
