"DisplayName" Columns Added to Data Model for Databases

We upgraded to version 8 back in August and I'm seeing something in Agilepoint that I don't remember seeing previously and I'm wondering if its a new feature and if so, how do I take advantage of it.

I created a form for my process-based app.  There is a datasource that points to a Sql Server database table and a few child tables.  And I've noticed that where there are foreign keys defined, AgilePoint has inserted a "_DisplayName" field.  And I'm guessing it would give me the "text" that goes along with that foreign key so that I don't have to fetch it myself.  But, when I try to drag that "DisplayName" field to the subform, it won't allow me to drop it.

What is "DisplayName" for and how can I use it?

  In case of Salesforce or SharePoint there is a column type called "Lookup" where the column will hold a value like GUID which is not human readable however the display in UI will be a user friendly value like 'Management'.

  When these type of columns which reference external Entity or List is selected for form this DisplayName column is added by AgilePoint so that it can store both values of Lookup type.

  I don't think Lookup type is applicable for Database.

  Ok, well it would seem they wouldn't show up at all for a database situation.  I apparently can't do anything with them...it is just confusing.  Thank you for the explanation.
