Calculate date difference with Update process data

I have problem with Update process data. I can't calculate difference between two dates in years. I have put all my variables in DateTime format but I dont have any result ?

Formula in expression is

(((DateTime)(${/pd:AP/pd:processFields/pd:CurrentDateTime})).Year)-(((DateTime)(${/pd:AP/pd:processFields/pd:CurrentLicence/pd:CurrentSaleDatum})).Year)

  Please try this way in Update Process data Activity and see if it helps your use case.

  (DateTime.Parse((${/pd:AP/pd:processFields/pd:CurrentDateTime}).ToString()).Year)-(DateTime.Parse((${/pd:AP/pd:processFields/pd:CurrentLicence/pd:CurrentSaleDatum}).ToString()).Year)

   

  Ideal solution is to use the OOTB Date manipulation Activities like 'Calculate Date Difference activity'.
