IE vs Chrome when using Javascript

Hi, I'm using NX 6.0. I have an autolookup in which, after it runs, I change the value of a field. In the Autolookup Configure for "Javascript to Execute after Lookup Completion" I have: txt_isLoaded.value = "true".

This works great in Chrome. However in IE 11, the value doesn't get updated. My users use a mix of these 2 browsers.  Is there a browser fix to get this javascript to run? The javascript worked using Edge on a Win10 system.

Or another way that I can have this field updates after the autolookup runs (to avoid the browser thing)?

  I worked with AgilePoint support - they created a javascript function that worked:

  function test()
  {
    var option = {fieldId : "txt_isLoaded", value : "true"} ;
    eFormHelper.setFieldValue(option, function(result){
  
    });
  }
  
  

  Then in the autolookupcontrol, call the function:
