Save image as response - REST API

Hey guys,

Is there any way to save a REST API response as an image? 

Of course, it is not possible to map to schema since it is not allowed (not string etc).

If it would be possible at least to store it on a process variable then I could try to save it using Word - but not sure also if it would work. 
Any clue on how to do that?
