Deploying new application versions

I am curious about the process of deploying updated applications to test and production. If I were making changes in the test or production environment I could publish those changes and map the existing processes to the new version of the application. In the normal course of updating, the changes are made to the development environment. When I move the changes to the test environment I normally delete the application, import the development version of the application and publish it. Testing proceeds from there. The production environment is different. I really want to import the updates as a new version to be published. I could then map the current processes to the new application version or let them complete under the old version. 

 

Is there a way to accomplish this in AgilePoint??

  For these scenario I've build an "deployment process" where I can move my process from dev to test and from test to prod.

  So u must only publish the process. For currently running processes you can migrate it to the new version or use the old one.
