Primary Data Entity in an Application

After creating our process application, we decided that our original data entity had some issues that would be better resolved with the creation of a new data entity (improper internal name, several schema changes, etc). Creating the new entity and attaching it to the application was easy enough, but I am unable to detach the original entity due to it being the primary data source.

Is it possible to change the primary data source of an application? Is the primary entity designated at application creation, and nowhere else?

  Andrew, This is not available at the moment. The Data Source created during the creation of process model is tightly bound and made as main source of data. If it's not big eForm consider recreating application with new DataSource as per requirement.
