File Upload form control - description/comments field for each file possible?
Hello, I'm replacing some legacy workflows and am using the File Upload form control to attach files to the start form of our process.
In our legacy forms, when you add a file to the form, each file would then have a blank textbox next to the file titled "Description/Comments". This was because a lot of attached filenames don't make sense (e.g. "AccountFile.docx"), and the description field would allow the user to better describe what the file was (e.g. "Application form for account for John Doe").
Has anyone come across a solution that allows a similar thing? For each file uploaded, provide a means for the user to describe each specific file? I imagine I'll have to do some javascript programming to get a similar result?

Your requirement is to associate file a metadata property which can be achieved in following way in the eForm (refer image below)
Step I followed:
- Added sub-form, marked as repeating
- Created your properties as fields (Attachment, Description, Document is Signed)
- For Attachment properties set Max. Number of Files = 1
Now this allows multiple rows/files and allows description as shown in image.
