How to increase the amount of "In Queue" tasks?

    For us it is located under Settings, Work Center, common Settings,  Max Items to Retrieve

    We still end up going over the max 999 (on our dev server, or on production when viewing all tasks not just my tasks) and so we just have to filter by app etc after the list loads. FYI, once the number of tasks available is over the max the list can display it is not the most recent tasks that necessarily show, no matter what the max you have it set to. We would sit waiting for a task to show up during testing but it never will. 

    Other note: cancel test process instances when that testing is done to remove that kind of noise on the dev server.
