Reusable Form Sections / Controls
I am trying to find a way to have reusable components that can be used in multiple forms and multiple processes. These would be fairly complex controls, like a form to manage contact information, that should look consistent no matter who designs the process that uses it.
I found this rather old documentation that mentions subforms being reusable, but as far as I can tell, this isn't a thing that is possible at this point (in version 6)

I was poking around in the visual studio nx developer plugin but it doesn't look like that will get me anywhere, since I don't want to define a whole task - I want to define a form control.
Any suggestions?

I may be missing something - I created, saved, published. Now I see it in the control library, but only within that 1 "application" - Do you know if I should be able to see the subform on multiple applications? (I can see for all processes within 1 application)
And, if I edit the subform in 1 form, it doesn't seem to update in the other place I'm using it. If I edit it from the library, things like labels update, but added fields don't show up.
Does this seem accurate? I'm probably going to open a formal support ticket about how this all works unless I'm just missing something obvious.

Thank you Scott for chiming in! You are correct.
As of today, subforms are reusable within an application, and as Scott mentioned, once a subform is created it is added to 'My Control Library' and can be reused across processes and forms within an application.
However, if any changes are made to the controls used in a subform (i.e. change in labels, properties, etc), we will need to push these changes back to the control library. To do so, please click on 'promote to library' which will in turn reflect the changes to the other forms.
Hope this helps.
