In order to sent an email with a link to a task, you must use the incoming email property of a manual activity. This is because, until the process arrives at the manual activity, no is created. To do this, click on a manual activity on the process diagram and it will highlight. From the ribbon menu at the top, select Properties>Agile Properties. From the properties menu at the right of the screen, change Common to All. Under Notifications, click on Incoming Email. Click on the ellipsis button at the right to open the email template. Create an email that has a valid link to a task. That needs to look something like https://trialapp2.nxone.com/ApplicationBuilder/eFormRender.html?WID= followed by your 81260EE5E6162BBF11778F34101E8D0A from the System Data list. It is best to create a Shared Variable in the Manage section of AgilePoint and call it something like TaskLinkPrefix. You can get the value for this variable by taking the first part of any task URL from your system, ending with ?WID=. In the email, you create the link to the task by dropping the TaskLinkPrefix from the Global Data and the TaskID from the System Data. It can't have any space between the two variables. It would look like this, 81260EE5E6162BBF11778F34101E8D0A.
