Integrations and Connectors
AgilePoint NX integrates in these ways with Java:
- External Forms
- REST API
- Web Service API
External forms are user input forms made with a technology other than eForms. For example, external forms can be ASP.NET forms, Java forms, Windows forms, or a proprietary form technology for a mobile application.
The following activities are available for External Forms:
- Advanced Task activity
- Dynamic Task Pool
- Load Blancing Task
- Parallel Tasks
- Sequential Tasks
- Standard Task
- Standard Task With Timeout
- Voting Task
- Web Form Start Task
- Web Form Task
For more information, refer to the process activities for External Forms in Process Builder.
The REST API lets you execute actions in AgilePoint NX with REST. This is especially useful for mobile apps, but you can use the REST API with any web-based applications.
For more information, refer to REST API.
Web Service API
You can use AgilePoint remote API, in which you can access using a web service or a Windows service (WCF). The AgilePoint remote API is designed and implemented using the Microsoft .NET WCF framework.
For more information, refer to Web Services API.
Some information about third-party integrations is outside the scope of the AgilePoint NX Product Documentation, and it is the responsibility of the vendors who create and maintain these technologies to provide this information. This includes specific business uses cases and examples; explanations for third-party concepts; details about the data models and input and output data formats for third-party technologies; and various types of IDs, URL patterns, connection string formats, and other technical information that is specific to the third-party technologies. For more information, refer to Where Can I Find Information and Examples for Third-Party Integrations?
